Callie Reed doesn't need a man to protect her. An expert sharpshooter and renegade hacker, this Texas-born spitfire's got the skills and the courage to stand up to any danger--now matter how deadly. But when she becomes the target of a shadowy organization known as the Saints, Callie is forced to team up with the one man she can't outshoot: the gorgeous, and infuriating, Lone Star legend named Wyatt Loughman...

A Delta Force Colonel with a rock-hard body and stone-cold heart, Wyatt has been teasing and tormenting Callie since they were playmates on his family's ranch. Of course, he's wildly attracted to the fiery, strong-willed Callie. But he's always hidden his feelings behind a wall of Texas tough and military cool, even as he's burning up with desire. Can Wyatt save Callie's life--without putting her love in the line of fire?

Review: 5 STARS!!

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! This whole series has been one wild ride after another, but this book, oh I have been anxiously awaiting for Wyatt & Callie's book and it definitely did not disappoint!!

Callie is one tough chick who has had a rough upbringing. Orrin and well all the Loughman's basically saved her from going  down a dangerous path with her biological family. I loved the father/daughter connection that Orrin & Callie have. He helped her grow into the woman she is today. he was always there for her and he really was a great father figure to her. I love how fierce Callie's loyalty and love is towards Orrin and the Loughman boys, even Wyatt. Callie is smart and fearless (about almost everything) and she never tried to hide herself and conform to what others wanted her to be.

Wyatt, oh boy, that man was like Fort Knox times 3, he is insanely closed off and so good at not showing emotions, but on the inside, that man feels EVERYTHING. He has had a rough time ever since his mom died and he found her. He has protected Callie without her knowing and he loved his brothers with everything in him, but at the same time, he didn't know how to let them in. He definitely had some anger towards his dad and needed to learn to let go of the past and focus on the here and now, and Callie helps his with that. I loved how protective and strong he was and I loved how deeply he felt everything, it added much charm to his very cold demeanor.

The passion between Wyatt & Callie was off the charts, even from the first book it was obvious there was something between these two. This book had me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning until the ending. I LOVE ORRIN & KATE!!!! I need them to have a now!!! The danger and adrenaline and romance and just overall feel of this book was what made it an amazing read!!! Donna Grant is so talented and definitely one of my favorite authors and I cannot wait for what she comes out with next!!
