Review: 5 STARS!!

This is the first Donna Grant book that I have read and I absolutely LOVED it!! I know it is the 11th book in the Dragon Kings series, and I do highly advise reading the books in order, but let me tell you, I was intrigued by the very first page and just ruined for any other dragon shifter romance books out there by the ending of Blaze.

Devon was like a curious lioness. I say lioness, because she was fierce and strong, even when she was lost. I also say curious, because she couldn't just leave things alone, no, she had to dig and dig and get all of the information, but that also made her smart. She was a very hard worker and proud of the job she was doing, until she met Anson and he turned not only her personal life upside down, but her work life too. I loved Devon's attitude about everything; her freaks out were very justified, but I loved how she would still fight back if she needed too. She was protective of Anson and when they started getting intimate, oh ya, she was a fierce and loyal woman.

Anson was a hard@$$, broody Dragon King who doesn't like humans, well humans who aren't mated to the other Kings, but when he meets Devon, all that hatred is bled away from him. Anson is strong, loyal, protective, possessive (when he meets Devon) & sexy. I loved how Anson, even when he didn't know his own feelings towards Devon, protected her and helped her. He never took advantage of her and he made sure that she was comfortable with everything at all times. I also loved Anson's love of being a dragon. Now, it was very sad at how he became to be a Dragon King, but he is a great one.

The connection that Anson & Devon share is unbreakable and strong. Their passion for each other is scorching and I was definitely fanning myself a few times throughout the book. I loved all of the secondary characters, even some of the bad ones!! Rhi...oh boy, do I need to know who her Dragon King is and seriously, they just NEED TO BE TOGETHER!!! I am so excited to go back and read books 1-10 and I cannot wait for the next Dragon King book to come out...I wonder whose story it will be...!!!!
