5 STARS!!!

This is an amazing book to start a new series off with!! This book was filled with alpha men, strong willed women, passion, action & suspense!!

Owen & Natalie were high school sweethearts, but then he left her behind, but for reasons only he knew of. I loved that even though it has been years since these two have seen each other, the moment that they do, you can feel the love and the connection that they still have.

What Owen went through as a kid, wold traumatize anyone, and with Owen, it caused him to lose the one woman who had his heart. I respected his decision to leave Natalie, but at the same time, he should have put more faith in Natalie and their love. Owen was so protective and sweet, I fell for his character instantly. He would do anything to protect the ones he loves and when his family is in jeopardy, he has no problem coming to help.

Natalie is one tough chick. She is brought into a world she really has no clue about, but at the same time the Loughmans have always been in her life, and her love for Owen couldn't keep her away. She was hurt by him and I completely understood, but at the same time, I kept wanting to tell Natalie to just take another chance on Owen, you won't regret it. I loved how in the action she wanted to be. She wanted to help any way she could and when she did, she did it well.

These two character were meant for each other, everyone knew that, I even knew that. The passion was off the charts between them, and yes there was trust issues there, but I loved that they worked through them together. The suspense and intrigue surrounding this book had me on the edge of my seat and I cannot wait to read the next book about Cullen Loughman!!!
