Preppy, Part Three: The Life & Death of Samuel Clearwater by T.M. Frazier

Release Date: April 26th, 2017

Genre: Contemporary Romance

The bowtie is BACK!

Dre was just a beautiful stranger when Preppy saved her the first time around. Now, he has to save her again, but she's no longer some stranger, she's family, and he has no idea who or what he's up against.

What he does know is that putting his family back together is the only acceptable outcome.

Preppy's to-do list?

He's alive...and he's out for BLOOD.

Preppy Part Three is the third book and conclusion of Preppy and Dre's story. It's also the 7th book in the King Series, which should be read in order starting with KING & TYRANT.

Kevin had occasionally done something that reminded me of myself, but next to a DNA test, I still had no valid proof he was my brother. Nothing that connected us as family.
Until now.
“Dude, you’re creeping me out,” Kevin said, reaching for his shorts.
Before he could pull them back on I dropped the hose and bee-lined toward him, wrapping him in a bear hug. “You really are my brother.”
“Huh?” Kevin asked, standing as still as a statue.
“Shhhh…just let me love you.”
“What exactly is going on out here?” Dre asked from the porch, flipping on the light. I still didn’t let go.
“He’s my brother. I’m sure of it now,” I informed her.
“I have no idea what’s going on,” Kevin said, wiggling free from my grip.
“Oh yeah?” Dre asked, amusement in her sleepy tone. She yawned and cinched the sash of the sexy little robe she was wearing that showed off those amazing legs of hers. “How are you so sure?”
I stepped back and pointed down to Kevin’s massive cock. “Because of that!”
Dre’s sweet laughter filled the air. I picked up the hose again and started to spray Kevin down. “Shit man, that’s cold!” he shouted, dancing around in the grass. “And are you gonna fill me in on what exactly she’s laughing at?”
“That,” I informed him, spraying his crotch with water. “Because I just found more proof that we’re brothers than the fact that we think we both were shot out of the same cunt.” I grinned from ear to ear.
“Okay? And what’s that?” Kevin asked. I turned off the hose and Dre tossed him a towel.
I dropped my eyes to the huge slab of man meat between Kevin’s legs. “From the waist down we’re not just brothers, we’re fucking twinsies.”
“Uh, what the fuck, Preppy?” Kevin asked, putting his shorts back on.
“Quick,” I said. “Tell me something. How do you feel about pancakes?”
Kevin shivered. “Honestly, I’m more of a waffle kind of guy.”
Dre gasped.
I shut my eyes tightly, clenching my fists at my side. I cracked my neck and slowly turned to face him. I opened my eyes. “What the fuck did you just say to me, boy? You better start running.”
“Wait, what?” Kevin asked, taking a step back and tripping over the sprinkler. He stood up and bolted through the gate. I chased him through the field while Dre looked on and laughed.
“I take it all back! You’re not my brother!” I shouted, tackling him to the ground and sitting on his chest.
“What the fuck, Preppy?” Kevin asked, squirming under me.

“You and I need to have a serious fucking talk.” I leaned down until my nose was almost touching his. “About the abomination that is waffles.”

Review: 5 STARS!!

What a great book to end an AMAZING series!! This whole series was heart pounding, an adrenaline rush, passionate and oh so dark and dangerous.

This book started off right where the last book ended, but I was kind of disappointed with how anti climatic it was. I expected there to be a lot more action and craziness but it over so fast; it's like I blinked and it was over. I will say though, the rest of the book, just made my heart happy.

Preppy & Dre have both been through so much and I was just happy that they got their HEA, because there is no one else who deserves that more than them. I loved Bo, he definitely surprised me in this book and he is definitely Preppy's son. I loved watching the brotherly relationship grow between Preppy & Kevin. It really opened up Preppy's heart in way that we haven't seen. The friendship and brotherhood between King, Bear & Preppy brought tears to my eyes. I love their friendship and when any one of them starts to get emotional, I get emotional. King will always be my #1 main squeeze, but Preppy definitely gives him a run for his money.

Dre is one of my favorite female lead characters. She is a great mom, a great wife, and will protect her family and those that she loves like the bad@$$ that she is. I loved seeing Dre's character growth throughout all three of these books and in this last book, I love that she is going after her dreams and Preppy is standing right next to her, supporting and encouraging her. Dre isn't defenseless, when need be, she fights back with everything she has. I love the strength that her character has, and the love that feels so deep for Preppy & their son. She knew Preppy inside and out and the fact that they are so in tune with each other, made my heart melt. The passion between them was off the charts hot and their bond just grew throughout this whole series.

This is one amazing series and ever since King, I have been hooked. I am sad that this series has ended, but I will definitely be re reading this series over and over throughout the coming years. Thank you for introducing us to these characters and this dark world T.M. Frazier!!

Cover Reveal for Royally Endowed by Emma Chase

Logan St. James is a smoldering, sexy beast. Sure, he can be a little broody at times—but Ellie Hammond’s willing to overlook that. Because, have you seen him??

Sexy. As. Hell.

And Ellie’s perky enough for both of them.

For years, she’s had a crush on the intense, protective royal security guard—but she doesn’t think he ever saw her, not really.

To Logan, Ellie was just part of the job—a relative of the royal family he’d sworn to protect. Now, at 22 years old and fresh out of college, she’s determined to put aside her X-rated dreams of pat-downs and pillow talk, and find a real life happily ever after.

The Queen of Wessco encourages Ellie to follow in her sister’s footsteps and settle down with a prince of her own. Or a duke, a marquis…a viscount would also do nicely.

But in the pursuit of a fairy tale ending, Ellie learns that the sweetest crushes can be the hardest to let go.

Logan St. James grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, in a family on the wrong side of the law. But these days, he covers his tattoos and scars with a respectable suit. He’s handsome, loyal, brave, skilled with his hands and…other body parts.

Any woman would be proud to bring him home to her family.

But there’s only one woman he wants.

For years he’s watched over her, protected her, held her hair back when she was sick, taught her how to throw a punch, and spot a liar.

He dreams of her. Would lay down his life for her.

But beautiful Ellie Hammond’s off-limits.

Everybody knows the bodyguard rules: Never lose focus, never let them out of your sight, and never, ever fall in love.

Review for Before I Ever Met You by Karina Halle

Title: Before I Ever Met You
Author: Karina Halle
Publisher: Metal Blonde Books
Published: April 25, 2016

A light-hearted STANDALONE CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE that will make you believe in love again.

I first met William McAlister when I was just a teenager.

He was handsome, had a beautiful wife and was on the verge of success, having just joined my father as his business partner. Mr. McAlister was full of smooth charm, but back then he was barely a blip on my radar. Just a family friend.

Fast forward ten years: I'm 25 years old and a single mom trying to make things right for her seven year old son. I've made some mistakes, grappled with my demons and now I'm back in the city of Vancouver, getting a second chance at a better life.

I've started by working for my father's production company as an executive assistant. My first day on the job and I already know I could have a promising career there.

That is until I see Will McAlister for the first time in a decade.

Now recently divorced and as sophisticated as always, Will has gone from being my father's friend and business partner to something so much more.

We're both older, for one thing, and he just oozes this worldly confidence and stark sexuality. Combined with his tall, muscular build and sharp suits, strong jaw and bedroom eyes, Will has turned into one hell of a distraction.

A distraction I'm having a hard time staying away from, considering his office is right across from my desk and I work with him in such close proximity.

But it's just a harmless crush, right?

It's jut an innocent fantasy of screwing him on his desk, right?

It can't ever be more because he's my father's best friend, business partner, and my boss.

NOTE: This novel is a light-hearted, swoony read. It doesn't contain any cheating but it does have ample amounts of sex and swearing.

Review: 5 STARS!!

Another amazing book by Karina Halle!! This is one of my favorite books by this author and I truly enjoyed every second reading it.

Jackie is a complex character. She is very back and forth, between her head and her heart. Her head is sensible and scared, but her heart is yearning for Will. I loved how Jackie didn't make excuses for what she went through. She was courageous and did what she had to to protect her son and I respected her character for that. She is starting to re build her life and her son's life. She wants what is best for Ty and oh my gosh, I loved Ty. He was smart, funny and loved his mom. Jackie is a hard worker and I loved how Will got under her skin and broke down all of her walls.

Will was just absolutely sexy. He was bossy, broody, a fantastic dirty talker and he was so sweet towards Ty. Will has gone through his own heartbreak, nothing like what Jackie has been through, but a betrayal nonetheless. Even after everything that went down with his ex, he is still willing to open his heart to Jackie and I loved that this strong man was willing to put his feelings out there. Will never treated Jackie like a kid, he always respected her like a woman and he never treated Ty with anything other than kindness and love. Will was a determined man and when he wants something or someone, he doesn't give up until it's his. He never gave up on Jackie and he never judged her for her past, he just showed her what true love is like.

These two characters had an instant attraction toward each other from the moment that they meet. The sexual tension between them is so strong, that anyone in a room with them could tell. I love the banter between them; it was fun, flirty, sexy & sometimes serious, but they could always talk to each other about anything and everything. Karina Halle wrote a fantastic book that had me swooning, laughing, crying & had my heart singing. I cannot wait to see what Karina Halle comes out with next!!

Promotional Tour for Fallen Crest Home by Tijan

Title: Fallen Crest Home
Series: Fallen Crest #6
Author: Tijan
Genre: Young Adult/New Adult/Contemporary Romance
Release Date: April 17, 2017

It’s been years since my mother was in my life.
I healed.
I learned to accept love.
I lived.
That’s all done. She was away, and now she’s back.
I’ve avoided her for a year and a half, but I can’t hide anymore.
Mason has an internship in Fallen Crest, so we’re heading back for the summer.
And when we got there—no one was prepared for what happened.

I was running.
Breathe. Run. Two, three, four steps in a row. Breathe again. Five, six, seven. Breathe. Pump your elbows. Go farther. Go faster. I had to keep going. This was my escape. I had to go, as long as I could, as far as I could. I needed to go until I couldn’t breathe anymore.
Keep going.
Run more. Run faster.
Keep going.
That’s all I was thinking, over and over. It was on repeat in my mind as I sped down the wood-chipped paths behind Fallen Crest. It was beautiful. I was weaving through red pines, up a small hill that was more a mountain, and back down only to speed up another hill/mountain. To the right of me was a deep valley. I got glimpses of it as the trees thinned, but I kept going. I’d stop at the very top of the last hill and watch the sunset. Then, I’d start back home. I’d get there just as the last of the sunlight would fade.
This was my pattern and I loved it. I felt exhilarated. I’d been running this path for the last week since Mason and I returned to Fallen Crest. So much had changed. Logan wasn’t with us, which felt wrong. It was like an arm was missing, but he was staying with Taylor for the first half of the summer, remaining at Cain. Mason was home. He was working an internship at James’ company for the first half of the summer. The second half would be in Cain. He’d leave for early football training. He didn’t need to play. He could’ve gone pro after his sophomore year, but he wanted to finish out his years. He wanted to graduate with a degree. Being a football star at Cain University, and also one featured heavily on ESPN, he had to be ‘good and saintly’ off the field. I could tell it was hard on him, but he was home for the next month and a half and I knew he was more relaxed. There was less of a spotlight on him.
I did not hold the same sentiment.
Being home was not relaxing for me. Analise was back, had been for the last year and a half. We were fast approaching June. She moved back to Fallen Crest, leaving the group home where she’d been for almost two years. She returned the Christmas of our freshman year and I spent the next year and a half avoiding Fallen Crest as much as possible. I couldn’t any longer.
Mason was here. So was I.
That’s how we were. Where he went, I went. Where I went, so did he. We were together and everything had been ‘quiet’ since my freshman year, his sophomore year. No one tried breaking us up. No one tried hurting me, or hurting him. There’d been no ‘fights’ against an adversary. It’d been us, college, and stability. I loved it.
This summer was the end of peace. I could feel it in my bones, and it was part of the reason I’d been running two hours every night.
I was cresting to the top of the last hill now. My lungs were screaming, but I loved that feeling. They wanted a break. Too bad. I kept going, until every organ was yelling at me to stop. Once I got there, the last few steps until the entire town of Fallen Crest opened beneath me, I gave in and appeased my body. Stopping, my hands on my hips, I gulped in breaths.
It was beautiful. Nestled among trees and in a valley, this town had brought so much tragedy to my life, but it brought so much love as well.
Mason. Logan.
Malinda and David.
Even Mark.
I was content. I had the family that I lost. Even a little sister, from my biological father who was now in my life again.
The only one missing was my actual mother, but she was waiting. I found the Kade mansion. It stuck out among all the other larger mansions in Fallen Crest. It was the largest. It was more a mausoleum. I remembered the first day Analise and I moved in. Things had been so different back then.
Things weren’t like that anymore.
I had family. My eyes trailed to the house down the street and across from the Kade Mansion. Malinda and David lived there, the man who raised me all my life. He wasn’t my birth father, but he was my father in every other way. And across from them was the house that Mason and Logan’s mother bought. She wasn’t there. She lived in Fallen Crest for Logan’s last year of high school, but since he went to university, she had resumed her traveling lifestyle. She’d been in Paris, a favorite of hers, and was staying there for the last six months. Malinda and David had a room for me. Their house had become my ‘home’, but I was staying at Helen’s house with Mason. It felt more like our house since it was just the two of us, and the last week had been glorious. It was like our own honeymoon. No Logan. No Nate. I loved both of them, but they lived with us at Cain University. Logan was Mason’s brother. He was family. Nate was family too, Mason’s best friend and Logan’s bar buddy, but it was still nice to have the house to ourselves. No stepmother. No dad. Mark wasn’t there. He was staying at his college for the summer as well. Just Mason and me, but even as I was thinking that, my eyes kept trailing back to the Kade Mansion.
She was there.
She being my mother. She hadn’t said much over the last year and a half. There were a few phone calls, requests to go for coffee, or dinner. Or the two times James came to Cain and all of us went for dinner. I’d been able to push her to the farthest region of my mind, but she was there. I felt her. I felt her silent begging like a plaque. She wouldn’t go away. I didn’t think she ever would go away.
Analise wanted a relationship with me.
But, feeling the old panic that always rose up in me as I let myself think about it, my hands turned into fists and I couldn’t let her in. My chest tightened. A wave of dizziness was threatening to crash over me.
I couldn’t.
There was no way.
And, still feeling her on my back, as if she were physically standing behind me, I turned and started the run back home. This time, I felt as if I were being chased. She was with me, right behind me, always watching me.
I ran harder, kicking off with more force, but the run back wasn’t as freeing as it had been before.

Book Tour & Review for Retaliate by M.N. Forgy

Retaliate (Sin City Outlaws Book 3) by M.N. Forgy is

Being the Vice President of the Sin City Outlaws Motorcycle Club comes with its perks.
Respect, power, and easy women whenever I want. I have control in everything I do.
Because of that, I wasn’t expecting my president to put me on babysitting duty, and on a female cop of all fucking people. I kill law enforcement, not protect them.

Alessandra pretends to be the good-guy hiding behind that shiny badge. But I see the darkness dancing in her eyes, and it draws me to her in the worst way. I want to devour that act of innocence, pull her over the line of justice, and into my bed.

I just wasn’t expecting the handful of secrets I got behind that badge of honor I ripped from her chest.  Because now, we’re retaliating against a common enemy together.

“So, you came here to what, let loose?” I ask suggestively, lust hanging from the tip of my tongue.

She looks up through hooded eyes, her hands fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.

Taking a small step, I invade her space. Using my finger, I tuck it firmly under her chin making her look me in the eyes. God, she’s so fucking soft to touch, my hands itch to take advantage of her body and soul. That’s what I do, I devour innocent women, and scar their souls to the point they’re damaged goods.

“Were you going to fuck one of my men tonight, Alessandra?” I ask hastily.

Her throat bobs as she swallows, fire igniting her eyes as she pulls away. She’s a pistol and not the kind you love and shine every day with care. More like the kind you’re scared to use because it may backfire on you at any minute.

“So what if I was? Why do you care?” She raises a challenging brow, her voice sharp. A burning sensation combusts in my chest thinking about her riding one of my guy’s dicks.

“I forbid you to open your legs to any of my brothers, do you understand?” My rash decision comes from an unknown place. An insatiable hunger beading at the tip of my dick.

Her jaw drops, and her hands curl into fists.

“Who do you think you are to dictate who I screw?” she scowls.

My temples pound with annoyance and anger, done with this back and forth.

Leaning down my lips a hair’s length away from her face, I intimidate her to the point she looks away and purses her lips.

“Maybe you didn’t get the memo, Blue Bird, but now that Zeek is playing daddy… I run this fucking city. Therefore, I say who you fuck, and don’t fuck.”

Her chocolate eyes snap to mine, and I know I have her full attention. Which I want, I want her to look at me, to really see me. All of me.

Review: 5 STARS!!

Another amazing book by M.N. Forgy!! Oh this book was dark, passionate, suspenseful and everything I would want in an MC book.

Alessandra has a deep, dark past that haunts her. She is a cop, but not a normal, follow all the rules kind of cop. I loved how she thought. She gave people chances, she was a hard @$$ when she needed to be and she was seductive. Alessandra didn't take anyone's crap. If you gave her a hard time, she would give it back to you ten times worse. Jillian is her best friend, so by association, she has to see the Sin City Outlaws MC, but that doesn't mean she is nice to them, especially Felix. He sees her, the real her who is trapped on the inside and just waiting to be unleashed. Felix, oh Felix is so much more than I assumed that he was. He doesn't do emotions, except with Alessandra and half the time, he doesn't know where they are coming from. He doesn't give it to her easy, he makes her flustered and turned on and vice versa. These two a combustible combination and they are both powerless to stop the collision.

The drama that is surrounding the MC and Alessandra is bigger & darker than they imagined. I loved the supporting characters, because they made the story have more depth and more questions came up and it just had me on the edge of my seat. I am SO excited for the next book of this amazing series!!

Blog Tour & Review for The Unlikeable Demon Hunter by Deborah Wilde

Book Title: The Unlikeable Demon Hunter
Series: Nava Katz, #1
Author: Deborah Wilde
Genre: Urban Fantasy/Romance
Release Day: April 18, 2017

Bridesmaids meets Buffy with a dash of the seven deadly sins.

The age-old story of what happens when a foul-mouthed, romance impaired heroine with no edit button and a predilection for hot sex is faced with her worst nightmare–a purpose.

Ari Katz is intelligent, driven, and will make an excellent demon hunter once initiated into the Brotherhood of David. However, this book is about his twin Nava: a smart-ass, self-cultivated hot mess, who is thrilled her brother is stuck with all the chosen one crap.

When Nava half-drunkenly interrupts Ari’s induction ceremony, she expects to be chastised. What she doesn’t expect is to take her brother’s place among the–until now–all-male demon hunters. Even worse? Her infuriating leader is former rock star Rohan Mitra.

Too bad Rohan’s exactly what Nava’s always wanted: the perfect bad boy fling with no strings attached, because he may also be the one to bring down her carefully erected emotional shields. That’s as dangerous as all the evil fiends vying for the bragging rights of killing the only female ever chosen for Demon Club.

Odds of survival: eh.

Odds of having a very good time with Rohan before she bites it: much better

“Show me your power.” His hand snaked out and caught my wrist, pressing his palm against mine. Holding me in a barely contained show of strength.
“Death wish, much? I showed you in the backyard.”
“Barely even a tease.” He drawled the words.
I meant to pull away but I got my directions mixed up and pushed back against the warmth of his skin. “I will fire up. I’m warning you.”
Rohan leaned in. “Do it.” His eyes flared and I caught my bottom lip between my teeth.
Then some last iota of common sense–and self-preservation–raised its hand. I jerked away from him. If he was a demon, I should have killed him six times over by now. What the hell was I doing? “You still haven’t convinced me that you’re not a demon,” I said, giving the evil spawn another chance for reasons I didn’t want to examine too closely. “Fame doesn’t preclude that. Nor does having a super cool mom.”
“That doesn’t, but this does.” He held up his pinky finger, showing me the same gold ring as mine, with the same engraved hamsa and blue sapphire iris, which it turns out, was standard issue. And here I’d been hoping for a succession of property-stamping jewelry as I rose through the hunter ranks.
I fell back against my headboard. “You’re part of Demon Club. Fuck. Me.”
Rohan oogled me. “I won’t take that off the table yet.” He propped his chin on his hands on the top of the chair.
I cocked an eyebrow at him. “Did you just put me on a table?”
“More invoked a proverbial table and a conditional ‘yet.’ The ‘yet’ is an important component of this potential event,” he said.
You know what else was an important component? The presumptuous jerk still having attached balls for our proverbial fuck.
“I used to write fanfic about Fugue State Five,” I said in a conversational tone.
Lookie lookie. Return of the amused smirk. “How was I?” he asked.
I shrugged, examining my chipped nail polish. “No clue. I wrote self-insert fanfic about the rest of your band. Zack, your keyboardist was astounding.” I drawled that last word so he’d get the full implication.
“My keyboardist?” Rohan’s smugness was R.I.P. “But he’s gay.”
“I assure you that didn’t matter.” I gave a self-satisfied sigh. “He succumbed to my fifteen-year-old self’s wiles.”
Rohan straightened. “Which of my much older bandmates also succumbed, Lolita?”
“Please. You guys were only three years older.” I twisted a dark curl around my finger. “But pretty much of all of them.” I raked a pointed look over him. “The ones worth writing about.” He didn’t react. “Though succumbing is far more innocent than you’re imagining,” I admitted.
“I doubt you were ever innocent.”
That was highly insulting. Did he think I’d been born this way? Please. I’d worked hard to cultivate this level of sexual awesomeness.

Review: 5 STARS!!

What a fantastic debut novel for Deborah Wilde!! PNR is my favorite genre and this book rocked!! The Unlikeable Demon Hunter was filled with humor, awkwardness, sexiness & action.

Nava was such a great character. She wasn't really doing anything with her life, and the first time we meet her, she is doing the walk of shame and I swear, I laughed throughout that whole beginning. Nava is very independent, loves her Doritos, and has a snarky side that would make anyone double think going against her with words. When something miraculous yet totally embarrassing happens, she is thrust into a role that wasn't meant for her, but she does a heck of a job.

Nava isn't as experienced with demon hunting as her twin Ari is, but she gets the hang of it soon enough. Enter Rohan, the rock god who makes Nava's body temperature go up and I swear their sexual chemistry is off the charts!! Together, these two navigate through a world of humans and demons and trying to stay alive while trying to control the need they have for each other.

This book was definitely a fun and exciting read and I loved the characters. Nava is definitely one of my favorite leading ladies and I cannot wait for the second book!!
