Synopsis

Raven and her sister, Cara, are at the mercy of a small detachment of Florentine vampyres, who are delivering them as a peace offering to the feared Curia in Rome.

In an effort to keep Raven from falling into the hands of his enemies, William puts himself at the mercy of the Roman, the dangerous and mysterious vampyre king of Italy. But the Roman is not what he expects...

Alliances and enmities will shift and merge as William struggles to save the woman he loves and his principality, without plunging the vampyre population into a world war.

Review: 5 STARS!!

What an EPIC conclusion to William & Raven's story. The Roman is filled with adrenaline, grit, passion, mystery & love.

Ok, so confession, this is the first book of this series that I have read....BUT even with that being that (haha), I was completely engrossed in this book. From the frist page to the very last page, my attention was solely focused on William & Raven.

Raven is one spunky lady. Seriously, even in the face of danger, she is strong willed. She doesn't back down easily and is so protective over her sister. Well, she is protective over all of the people that she loves. Raven's love for William is so deep that it can never be removed. Raven is definitely one of my favorite heroine's ever written. I cannot wait to go back to book 1 and read about her from the beginning, because I know that her strength and character must have grown throughout each book. Raven is loyal to William and her sister, but at the same time, in some situations, she has to choose and I love that she chose to live and be loved.

William, he is one swoon worthy male!! He loves Raven with every part of his being and throughout the whole book, he protected her and wanted what was only the best for her. William has a role to play in order to protect Raven and I admired that he would put himself in tight situations just to keep her safe. William is sexy, confident, protective and I seriously just LOVED his character.

These two characters have a chemistry and love that is so strong that nothing could break their bond, even though people have tried their hardest to do just that. Sylvain Reynard wrote a story that made me cry & had me on the edge of my seat. Like I said before, I cannot wait to go back to book 1 and start reading!!! This book is definitely one of my top reads of 2016 and it is for sure going on my re read shelf!!
