Release Date: November 14th, 2016 Genre: Young Adult Romance

Synopsis:
He's not perfect, but he's all I want...
I’m your average girl at your average high school, trying to figure out my place in life. After catching my now ex-boyfriend messing around with my now ex-best friend, I’ve made some big changes. No more band, no more backstabbing friends and no more boring old life. Now I have new friends, a new job and new interests.
But there’s a certain someone who’s interested in me, and I don’t get it. Jordan Tuttle could have anyone he wants. He’s the most popular boy in school. Rich, gorgeous, smart and the star quarterback, he’s perfect. Yet he acts like he wants no one else but…me.
So despite my fears and doubt, I let him get close. Probably too close. I discover that he’s not so perfect after all, but it doesn’t matter. I’m falling for him, even though he runs so hot and cold. I know someday he’s going to break my heart.
And I’m going to let him.

Review: 5 STARS!!

I never read Just Friends, so I didn't know what to except going into this book, and honestly I am so happy about that. I really enjoyed Jordan & Amanda's story and that ending just left me wanting more.

Amanda was a great character. She is kind, caring, thoughtful, great friend & a good person. Amanda is the type of girl that you want to be best friends with. She wasn't into the games or the "he said, she said," and was just a very honest person. Her feelings for Jordan were strong and scared her, but she took the plunge and went after what she wanted. She was a great friend to Olivia and I loved that she didn't sugar coat anything, she just said it how it was.

Jordan was the ultimate swoon worthy boy in high school. I loved that he was more complex than people assumed. He isn't just a popular kid, he is a guy who doesn't feel anything inside, except for when Amanda is around, but he also doesn't know how to express that, especially to her. I loved how he was with her, it was like a totally different Jordan than who he was with everyone else. Jordan definitely has some growing to do, but I am so excited to see it!!

Monica Murphy really did a fantastic job writing these characters and getting us invested in their stories. Like I said before, I am so excited for the next part of Jordan & Amanda's story!!
