Release Blitz & Review for Fractures in Ink by Helena Hunting

Fractures in Ink by Helena Hunting Publication Date: November 14th, 2016 Genre: Contemporary Romance

Sometimes the things we shouldn’t want become exactly what we need . . .

Waitressing at a seedy strip club isn’t ideal, but it pays Sarah Adamson’s tuition. Her goal is to finish her master’s program and get a job that doesn’t involve tight skirts and groping hands. She doesn’t need distractions. Especially not the one that comes in the form of a hot-as-sin tattoo artist who works across the street from her apartment.

Kicked out at sixteen, and a high school dropout, Chris Zelter is familiar with wanting things he can’t have. His fractured life has never been easy. As the product of someone else’s bad decisions, he knows exactly what happens when the wrong person controls your marionette strings. Now an accomplished tattoo artist in a renowned studio in Chicago, Chris has it together.

Apart from his infatuation with Sarah. She’s way out of his league, and Chris knows it.

But he’s willing to be her bad decision. At least for now.

Review: 5 STARS!!

This is the first Helena Hunting book that I have read and I absolutely LOVED it!! This book was passionate, edgy & beautifully written.

Chris & Sarah are opposite on the outside, but on the inside they are a perfect fit. I loved that Sarah was working hard to better her life and that she saw Chris in ways no one, not even himself, saw him in. I absolutely hate Xander and Candy!!! What Xander does is seedy and I felt so bad for he position he kept putting Sarah in, for his own selfish reasons. Sarah has a backbone and determination that not many people think that she has, but then she surprises everyone. Her love for Chris was true and beautiful to watch blossom.

Chris had a hard childhood and it has helped shape him into the man he is now. Even though he doesn't think highly of himself, he is selfless when it comes to the people that he cares for. I loved how he treated his sister and his protectiveness of her. He took care of those who needed it and was harsh when he had to be. His protectiveness and possessiveness and kindness and just all around loving side of him that he showed towards Sarah really made me swoon. Sarah opens his eyes to true love and what it is all about.

These two characters have a passion and connection with each other that other couples strive for. This book definitely made me want to go back and read about the other couples and I will for sure do that!! This book had me swooning and  on the edge of my seat and I can't wait for the next book by Helena Hunting to come out!!!
