Review for Beautiful by Christina Lauren

Title: Beautiful
Series: Beautiful #10
Author: Christina Lauren
Published: October 4, 2016
Publisher: Simon & Schuster/Gallery

After walking in on her boyfriend shagging another girl in their place, Pippa Bay Cox ditches London for the States to go on a drunken road trip with Ruby Miller and some of her Beautiful friends.

Scaling the career ladder is the default way to deal with heartbreak--and to just deal--for Jensen Bergstrom. Absolutely buried by his drive and workload, he rarely takes time for himself. But when his sister Hanna convinces him to join the gang on a two-week wine tour, he has a rare moment of cutting loose. Of course, it's only once he's committed that he realizes the strange girl he met briefly on the plane is coming along, too. She might be too much for him...or he might realize his life has become too small and needs her to make it bigger, crazier.

With this circle of friends there's always something going on: from Chloe and Sara's unexpected personality swaps to Will's new domestic side to Bennett's text message barrage and George's own happily-ever-after. In short, their adventures in love, friendship, and hilarity are nothing short of Beautiful.

Review: 5 STARS!!

This is a BEAUTIFUL book to end a BEAUTIFUL series. Christina Lauren wrote a compelling, passionate, funny & heartfelt book.

Pippa....this woman was everything I wish most heroine's were. She is funny, smart, quirky, outgoing, loved herself & didn't care what other people thought. How this book started and how we were really introduced to Pippa, was both funny & sad. Yes, we have met Pippa's character before in previous books, but in this book we get to be in Pippa's head and I loved it. I loved how Pippa just took charge of her life. She was hating her job and boyfriend and she just decided she needed a break and went on a trip; that takes balls.

Jensen is a very hard working and dedicated man, but he needs a break. Jensen is the definition of workaholic. When he meets Pippa it's like she is a breath of fresh air in his stuffy world. He has some issues, well who doesn't, that he needs to work out, but he can't seem to leave Pippa alone. I loved how intense Jensen was. I felt like his feelings and when he and Pippa has intimate moments, they meant that much more because of his intensity. I loved that we got his POV as well as Pippa's.

This book is a great one to end a series with. We got to see previous characters and see how everyone and everything is going. Christina Lauren wrote a BEAUTIFUL series that will stay with me and with, I'm sure, many other people.
